Our outreach committee is comprised of amazing trained volunteers, who are committed to helping others become successful. We connect with our clients through street outreach and referrals. Our model is we meet them right where they are at and connecting them to resources and services.

Our History
We have been providing services to our community for the past five years in numerous capacities, such as mentoring in Juvenile Justice System and helping youth navigate Social Services. We have also trained our communities on many topics including Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children.
Founder / Executive Director
La Toya L. Gix
La Toya Gix is the founder of Divine Interventionz. A non-profit dedicated to connecting individuals to comprehensive services in impoverished communities.
La Toya Gix also provides Consultation for Sex Trafficking and Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children. Ms. Gix has worked with multiple systems such as the Alameda County District Attorney’s office, providing direct services to their CSEC youth impacted by the system,
Children and Family Services of Contra Costa County, where she provided training, consultation, implementation, and assistance to All Social Workers, County-Wide.
La Toya has worked tirelessly in numerous capacities within housing facilities and safe homes such as STRTP Residential Counselor to Housing Program Manager.
La Toya has also been an advisor to Faith-Based Organizations and CBOs in her community. La Toya is also a member of the National Survivors Network and a member of the state of California Action Team’s CSEC Advisory Board. As a Survivor Domestic Commercial Sexual Exploitation, La Toya is passionate about creating and implementing programming, jobs and housing specifically for Survivors of Commercial Sexual Exploitation. Through this work, she hopes to influence Local, State and Federal Policy.
